It goes with Neurodiversity, and the Conversation with the School.

How it helps

Read one report at a time and each comment looks mild. Side by side, the same comment coming back year after year shows a pattern that a SENCo can act on.

How to use it

  1. Find your child’s last three school reports, and lay them out side by side.
  2. Write down any sentence that keeps coming back, in the teachers’ words, and where it appears.
  3. Take the sheet to your child’s class teacher with the sentence at the foot, and ask to meet the SENCo.
  4. Take it with you to the SENCo meeting too, with the sheet for that meeting.

How to print it

Print it at home on A4, at actual size (100%) in the print settings. It reads as well in black and white as in colour.
