The teachers’ shelf.

A library written by therapists for parents, free to the people who hold pastoral care. Find the subject, choose what to send, and the parent opens a page from The Parent Book that says who passed it on. Free to use, and it will stay free: no licence, no fee, nothing to procure.

  1. Sign in with your school address.

    A link arrives by email, lasts an hour and works once. Following it shows a page with one button; pressing that signs you in for three months on whichever device you opened it. No password to keep, nothing to install, and a way to sign out at the top of every page.

  2. Pick the subject.

    From a board of the things families bring to you, or type the word you would say out loud: worry, screens, meltdowns, bedtime, divorce, exams.

  3. Send the parent something that helps.

    A one-page pack, a chapter, a quick tip, a book. Up to five as one link. The parent reads it free, in full, with nothing to sign up to.

A school address, not a personal one, so we can see the account belongs to a school. We do not share it, and we do not pass it to anyone else. We send nothing but the sign-in link, unless you ask on the shelf for a short note at the start of each half-term.

Every sign-in email carries a code as well as a button, because some school mail systems change or remove links. The code does the same job and lasts the same hour.
